Monarque

This restaurant concept is something unique to Baltimore offering a French inspired cuisine featuring prime dry-aged steaks, classic cocktails, and live cabaret performances. To push the concept further I wanted to create a cocktail menu that has the same look and feel as an authentic playbill. Different illustration approaches were taken to replicate a vintage Parisian look and feel that would engage guests in the entire experience from start to finish.

“Ad space” was used to promote private dining at Monarque, new properties coming soon, and other services that Atlas Restaurant Group offers (Atlas Farms, Atlas Fish Market, crab cake delivery, custom cakes, etc).

Traditionally this spread includes the cast and a brief bio for each member. Instead, flavor profiles were given to all French spirits– Cognac, Armagnac, Eau de Vie, and Calvados.

As seen in a New York playbill, I copied the “On the Town” section cross promoting the other Atlas Restaurant Group Baltimore locations by neighborhood. Highlighted are the other three properties (Tagliata, The Elk Room, Italian Disco) located next to Monarque within Atlas Quarter.
