Lucha Rosa
Perched high atop downtown’s Moxy Hotel, Lucha Rosa is DC’s newest all-season indoor/outdoor rooftop bar featuring a retractable roof. Colorful, fun and vibrant, Lucha Rosa pulls inspiration from Mexican and Latin American cuisine and culture taking a whimsical concept combining lucha libre and a luxurious fine dining atmosphere.
The owners’ primary focus was on the high end, Mexican-Latin American details while incorporating small elements that nod to lucha libre.

With a limited food menu and larger drink menu, I selected a book layout that would allow the operations team to switch pages out easily. A light pink, textured vinyl material that resembled a Mayan pattern was selected tying in the colors of the furniture and warm woods of the restaurant.
